Biography
Claire Estill McHugh obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton, and in 2012 was selected by Teach for America to join the first Southwest Ohio Charter dedicated to serving low-income public schools in Cincinnati, Ohio.
After teaching, Claire attended Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law graduating magna cum laude in 2017. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Kentucky and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. She is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Mason-Bracken Bar Association, Kentucky County Attorneys’ Association, the National Fraternal Order of Police Limestone Lodge #5, a member of the Leadership Horizons Class of 2022, and a graduate of Emerge Kentucky Class of 2019.
Claire volunteered with the Legal Aid Divorce Clinic, Street Law program, and the Cincinnati Pro Bono Partnership Program while in Northern Kentucky, and continues to volunteer with the Tom Browning Boys & Girls Club Board, Mason County Specialty Court, Legal Aid of the Bluegrass, Teach for America Alumni Board, and at many of our local school and community events.
